A beautiful wide stretch of the Murrumbidgee runs straight through the town. Perfect access for water sports. 
The still water is wonderful for Paddleboards and kayaks, with plenty of space for water skiing, kneeboarding or towing the family in a tube behind the boat. 
Boat ramps are located at Sandy Point Beach, Murrumbidgee Vally Regional Reserve and Soap Works Bend.
