Sandy Point Camp Ground

Sandy Point is the home of a free primitive campground available for you to stay 2-3 nights.
If you are looking to go for a swim, put in a boat or throw in a line this is the spot to stop and camp. Take a walk around the all weather tracks that hug the Murrumbidgee and encompass the mighty river red gums. There is free BBQs and flush toilets with $2 showers at the Visitor Centre in Moppett ST.
This is a dog friendly camp accessible to all campers big and small.
There are two main entries to Sandy Point; one via Brunker St adjacent the Skate Park and another at the Western end in Water St.

Located in Carrathool on Murrumbidgee River Rd this free camp offers toilet facilities, drinking water and swimming. It is dog friendly and accessible to RVs,  tents permitted campers must be fully self-contained.
