The Carrathool Races are seen as an iconic bush race meet. Located in the village of Carrathool, where the population goes from 99 locals to over 1000 racegoers for the day in early March. 
Fashions on the field are a feature for ladies and gentlemen, and there is nothing better to watch than the Jackaroo and Jillaroo sprint. 
The Carrathool Jockey Club caters for everyone's needs with a continuous BBQ, licensed bars and refreshments throughout the day.
