Heritage & Arts Trails
Hay consists of many heritage buildings, mainly located in the CBD area, and many art features, a lot of which are located in the river bend and along Lachlan St. Below is a map showing the locations and further details on each item. A hard copy version of the map can be sought from Hay's Visitor Information Centre in Moppett Street.

OUR RIVER RESERVES
The perfect place to get away from it all Visitors are welcome to camp on reserves, but are reminded that many of the reserves are djacent to private property and to ensure they keep to areas marked as public land.
Visitors camping on the river reserves must also abide to the following conditions:
- Travelling stock are to have priority and right of way at all times.
- All campers are to be responsible for the removal of their own rubbish.
- All campers must adhere to fire ban periods.
- The law prohibits no shooting or hunting on public land.

Get back to Nature - enjoy the Walk
TAKE A STROLL ALONG THE MURRUMBIDGEE
The river walk follows the bank of the northern side of the river. Picnic areas are located along the length of the track to allow people to sit and enjoy the tranquility of the river, have a picnic or to simply take a rest. The walk can be entered from Hay Lions Park (near Bushy Bend Reserve) or a the end of Orson Street.
