  5th - 7th: Dunera Day at Hay
Commerates the arrival of 2,000 German Austrian Jewish internees, on 7th September 1940. Four steam trains of internees, in 48 carriages arrived at Hay Railway Station.
13th - 14th: Hay Agricultural Show
Cooking competitions,show jumping, showgirl and showman competition, side show alley- the Hay Show has everything! One of the most popular family days on Hay's event calendars. Contact the office on 02 6993 1630
  19th - 21st: Patchers and Quilters of the Hay Plains ~ QUILT SHOW
A wonderful exhibition of some amazing quilts. Talented quilters contribute their masterpieces to this extensive quilt show.
26th - 28th: Hay Open Annual Tennis Tournament
If you fancy yourself with chance enter the annual tennis tournament, but be prepared, there are some pretty snappy regular players!

  2nd: Oz Aliens Day
Visit Dunera Museum to learn more about the Italian, Japanese and other civilian internees in Hay. Volunteers will be on hand to access the archive room and guide you through the museum
22nd: Hay Jockey Club Races
Dress yourself up for the fashions on the field, join us for a day of style, glamour and best of all, good clean fun. The Hay races has all your favourites: TAB, Sky, food, bar service plus a band to party on into the night. A great social occasion!
  28th - 29th: National Shearing Championships
Two days of fantastic competition, with the best of the best competing for the top title
