July 2009

  25th: 16th Garrison Battalion Day
On the 25th of July 1940 the 16th Australian Garrison Battalion was formed at Sydney to guard the three camps at Hay 6,7 and 8.

August 2009

  29th: Lions Market Day
Come to the Lions Park, and meander through the stalls at your leisure. Find yourself a little keepsake with hand made jewellery and other trinkets, find yourself some ingredients for dinner with fresh produce and have a sausage sizzle for lunch.

  5th: Dunera Day at Hay

18th: Bishop's Lodge Spring Market
Join us for a relaxing celebration of Spring at the annual, and much anticipated Lodge Spring Market. Stunning surroundings, heritage roses and friendly people.
  31st: Lions Market Day
Lots of Stalls and plenty of barginas. Site fee $10. A great way to find a special treasure. Come along and support this wonderful group who help the town in many ways.

November 2009

  7th: Oz "Enemy Aliens" Day at Hay
Rembering the Italian, Japanese and other "enemy aliens" arrested and interned in Hay between 1940 and 1945.

December 2009

  12th: Lions Market Day
Come and enjoy the last Lions Club market day for 2008, maybe find yourself a treasure for yourself or a present for christmas. Lots of stalls and plenty of bargains.
